What makes IPS particularly good for installers is our welding tool. Heating to exactly 260°C, the welding tool (unlike others on the market) indicates when the welding plates are at the correct temperature so that the molecular joint is at maximum strength. With lesser systems and an underheated tool, the joint will not be strong enough and could fail, causing a leak. Conversely, if the welding toll is too hot, the PPR will melt too far and the joint will also suffer a failure.
