The 300+ houses are aimed at the middle class sector and so a high quality, reliable system was sought. Unlike painted metal gutters, the developer wanted a system that wouldn’t rust or scratch, or need repainting regularly. With FlowPlumb’s lightweight PVCu system, the through-colour is UV stable and system requires little to no maintenance. As is recommended, the client chose to use the compete system including downpipes whilst Space & Style supplied installation supervision and periodic inspections. “With any kind of guttering, it’s important to install it so it can breath – that is to leave room between the gutters in the joint brackets for the gutter to expand into. Without this the gutter would buckle and be ruined.
